Palacina Berlin is located in the area called Schöneberg. A historic district founded on the 3rd November 1264 which became part of Berlin on the 1st January 1861.

The Palacina Berlin isn’t just placed anywhere in Germany’s capital. The district of Schöneberg has a rich history in the arts, pop culture, and major world events. On top of that, it is within walking distance from Berlin’s most important landmarks, such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Victory Column, Potsdamer Platz and the shopping street Kurfürstendamm, including the famous department store KaDeWe.

Conveniently located close to the Winderfeldtplatz (400m), Potsdamer Platz (2 km) and Kurfürstendamm (2.5 km). Close to Nollendorfplatz and Bulowstrasse U-bahn.

Some interesting facts about Schöneberg

John F. Kennedy delivered his famous speech from the balcony of the Schöneberg town hall on June 26th, 1963, and moved the world forever with his words “Ich bin ein Berliner”.

David Bowie lived in Schöneberg from 1976 to 1978, where he shared an apartment with Iggy Pop. Here he created the albums that are also known as the Berlin Trilogy, “Low”, “Heroes” and “Lodger”. Today, there is a memorial plaque outside his former apartment in Hauptstr. 155, to honor and remember this time.

Albert Einstein used to live in the Bavarian District of Schöneberg (1918-1933).
